It features a probe with an FDA recommended 1.5 mm diameter stem that is excellent for thinner foods and gives you a reading within 6 seconds. The digital display can read temperatures between -4 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 200 degrees Celsius), and is accurate to within 1 degree (0.5 degrees Celsius). It also uses BioCote, the only antimicrobial protection to be awarded HACCP International Certification, to provide an important extra level of defense against cross-contamination.
